Back again — the third season of the Washington Park Farmers Market! The Market will be set up every Saturday fromJuly 3 through October 3, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. “Our mission is to provide our community access to locally sourced products and goods in order to support local businesses as well as to enhance the optimal health and well-being of our residents,” explains Scott Abraham, the organizer of the market, who also owns and runs the Guilderland Farmers Market. We are committed to bringing local Farmers, Mom and Pop businesses, and healthy living to a centralized area.  A place where local communities can all come together for a healthier alternative to today’s big box stores buying… Not only are you buying local, you are strengthening your neighborhoods, creating new memories, and making friendships that last. The Washington Park Farmers Market participates in the WIC nutrition program, offers a children’s entrepreneur program. and partners with Lark Street Yoga to offer Yoga in the Park before the market opens.
